Conventions of the European «Forum Klanglandschaft FKL» are taking place every two years in one of the European member countries. Recently there have been conventions in Vienna (2001), Meran (2003), Potsdam (2005) and Basel (2009). This year, the convention is held at the University of Applied Sciences, St. Pölten.

Within this year’s convention, current works on the topic of soundscape studies from the fields of science and art respectively – ranging from culture, media or music science, geography and music pedagogy to music therapy, composition, sound and media art as well as broadcast applications – are presented as papers or presentations.
