Dear visitors of this site. Because of the steadily increasing number of new netlabels, I have decided to list my personal favorites only from now on. Unfortunately, my time doesn’t allow for a constantly updated list displaying all newly founded netlabels. I am of course happy about links that you send to me, but I can’t promise anybody to have their link added to the list. Thanks goes out to everybody who’s been supporting me.
My personal point of view: free music (as in: free of charge) can only be an alternative to traditional distribution. Objectionable copies of purchased music will harm your favorite artist or label and treat artist work without respect. So, please also buy vinyl, CDs, mp3s and DVDs, go to concerts or live-acts if your budget allows all or some of this. Each musician and everybody working at a label has to pay for rent, food and electricity as well to keep going.
