Noise Colloquium – Saturday March 21st – Sunday March 22nd
The University of Greenwich is hosting a two-day colloquium to explore noise as a concept that embraces the expressive, the idea of noise as a resistance and, through mutating repetition, a catalyst for creative production.
From this perspective noise moves out of the solely auditory register into a multisensory realm of non- representational logic. With this in mind you are invited to join delegates/speakers/performers that include:
Nicolas Collins: performance and ‘In conversation with David Toop’
Atau Tanaka: performance and keynote
Manuela Barczewski: performance
Melanie Clifford: performance
Dirty Electronics: workshop
Poulomi Desai & Dushume: performance and paper
Alice Eldrige: performance
