New American Radio went off the air in 1998, however, NRPA—in partnership with Wesleyan University, and with the support of the National Endowment for the Arts—is now in the process of creating a digital archive. One hundred and forty works are archived at Wesleyan and available on this site. For the first time, you can enjoy these works in their entirety online.
Along with the full-length works, we’re updating artist’s biographies and creating a comprehensive list of interesting radio and sound art web sites.
