AUDIOT is an online label which goal is to develop and publish sharpest audio design from Latvia and neighbouring countries. There is no claim of objectivity as audiot is not organization for statistics or classification. Label is founded by group of Latvian sound designers under the guidance of Kiryll Lomunov – sound designer and active collaborator of local avant-garde scene since early 90’s. Audiot artists sculpture the face of the label. These are young active performers interested in experimental merging of different multimedia sources. Performances consist of both audio and video tracks. The main moto of the label is intelligent sensation of the ambience. Field of Audiot activity starts where rhythm and melody ends. It is search for deeper understanding of surrounding reality. Audiot presents not an easy-listening source.
