LITERAL:
XP Sound will be showcasing the new XP202 USB audio interface at the 2005 Winter NAMM Show, offering 24-bit/96kHz conversion for Mac and PC-based studios with features catering to musicians and DJs.
The XP202 USB audio interface allows transfer of vinyl records and cassettes to PC. Because record players, tape recorders, microphones, and many other devices operate at differing audio levels, an audio interface needs to match levels. The built in RIAA equalizer handles signals from your turntable and a ground connector is provided on the front panel for connection to your turntable.
The unit also features two adjustable microphone pre-amps and a pair of stereo line inputs. The mic preamplifier provides selectable phantom power. Instrument line level signals can be directly connected via the XP202’s stereo line input on the front panel. A stereo headphone amp is accessible from the front panel with an individual volume control and special ‘mix’ control. This allows users control of the monitoring balance between USB audio playback signals and the input signals from either line or mic inputs.
