Astrotone (2016): 19″ x 21″ x 14″ (ambassador suitcase turntable, copper plated computer board, metal).

This mid-century suitcase turntable has been retro-fitted to become a music box. The copper disc has short pins soldered to its surface that strike musical tines as the disc turns. Each pin correlates to the location of a star on a Planisphere star chart. As the disc turns, the visible universe is heard at 33 RPM.
