Prosody appears as the music of language. Indeed, emotions, syntactic structure, and languages are characterized by different melodies, which are defined between a global and local window. What can be the mechanism implicated in the processing of speech prosody?

Computational neuroscience has proposed models, which have been tested on the recognition of words. In this seminar, I will present how a Temporal Recurrent Network (TRN) inspired by neurophysiologic studies for sequences learning by primates can be adapted to the processing of prosody.
