Destacamos de este nuevo paquete de info los 5 radio shows sobre la historia de la radio realizados por los ya míticos Negativland, que esperamos poder pillar a través del streaming estos días.

Negativland: How Radio was done | everyday 7 to 10:00 GMT 0Negativland presents 5 episodes from their 100-part live-mixed series on radio history and how it happened, broadcast as part of their weekly radio show, Over The Edge. Each day, you’ll be able to hear one . In the the first episode, from Morse and Marconi, into the 20s and the earliest commercial stations, Negativland follows the emergence of this amazing invention that burst into (US) national consciousness at the turn of the 20th Century with lots of vintage audio, Edison discs, and a view of the culture and technology that informed it. The episodes move through the ’20s and ’30s, with the development of early radio, the spread of new stations, and emerging content from comedy to melodrama. Anf follows radio’s presentation of WWII as it began, atomic age and the modern UFO phenomenon, ending in illegal radio. This is radio walking the plank.
