«Terrasound have mapped a number of ‘soundwalks’ in Portugal, Turkey, Switzerland and California. It is an interesting concept of being able to listen to the sounds of an environment during a walk whilst following the location on a Google Map.

It is strangely compelling listening to the snatches of conversation and music as the walk progresses and very interesting to compare the soundscapes of different countries and cultures.»
