EUROPEAN SOUND DELTA IN LINZ – SEPTEMBER 5TH & 6TH 2008

Artists, residencies, sound performances and a radio project across Europe. European Sound Delta boat cruising on the Danube stops in Linz from September
3rd to 7th. On Friday 5th & Saturday 6th, 2 days & nights of sound art and live events : concerts, performances, streams from Köln (D). Find the artists’ boat &
all events in front of Kunstmuseum Lentos, close to Nibelungenbrücke.
European Sound Delta is a transeuropean mobile residency on the Danube and the Rhine rivers during summer 2008. It is focusing on radio and media art and is
organized by MU (France), Rokolectiv (Romania) and Arena Media (Bulgaria) with the support of the Belef and the EU Culture Program.

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 6TH > 12:00 am to 12:00 pm > LISTENING LOUNGE and PERFORMANCE
Listening lounge (headphones performance) – each half hour an artist will perform with field recordings and sound pieces made on the boat + live
performances from Le Placard headphone festival in Köln (www.leplacard.org) and guest artists from Austria. Participating artists : Spectral Investigations

Singing Bridges (special performance) – Jodi Rose (Australia/Germany), Luka Princic (Slovenia), Aljosa Abrahamsberg (Slovenia), WPMG (BR – UK – FR) – field
recordings, on-site interventions and transmissions from bridges on the Danube.
