The Sound Environment Centre at Lund University

The centre was inaugurated following a decision by the Vice Chancellor in March 2005. The Centre is the first of its kind, either in Sweden or abroad. Its mission is to study the phenomenon of sound and acoustic worlds and environments from a multi- and interdisciplinary perspective. The Centre serves as a common education and research body for the entire university, and as an interface with the outside community on issues relating to sound and sound environments.
