Terratec’s Phase 24 is an external audio interface that allows you to record ‘studio quality’ audio on your laptop or desktop computer. Designed for musicians, the device should simplify the process of connecting instruments and recording audio on your Windows or Mac computer. In addition to all of the required cables and adapters, the package includes two analogue mono inputs/outputs, analogue stereo output, a 0.25in. jack that is usable with line level or as adjustable headphone output, a single coaxial digital I/O port, as well as a single 5-pin MIDI DIN. Technical features include a digital hardware mixer, analogue playback and recording at up to 24-bit/192kHz, digital playback and recording at 24-bit/96kHz, a 24-bit/192kHz A/D converter with 110dB signal-to-noise ratio (typical 109dB), a 24-bit/192kHz D/A converter with 114dB SNR (typical 111dB), and a 2.0-V RMS output level.
