Programa
On April 29 (8pm), the sound installation in the Pavilion will be launched. This installation consists in a very subtle real-time processing of the sounds audible in and around the Pavilion, altering minimally and dynamically their spatial components, creating a field of auditory-aesthetic reflection about the particular perception of inside and outside spaces conditioned by this building. The installation will be open until June 21.
From May 26 to 31 and from June 18 to 21, the other three components of transient senses will be exhibited at the Fundació Antoni Tàpies. The exhibition of the sound essay, the video essay and the text essay is complementary to the installation and pursues the creation of a field of aesthetic reflection about how the Pavilion conditions the emergence of sense.
On May 28 and 29, the first part of an international research seminar will take place at the Goethe Institut of Barcelona with the participation of Susanne Hauser (UdK Berlin), Dieter Mersch (ZHdK) and Gerard Vilar (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona).
The second part will take place as part of Sónar+D on June 18 and 19 with Jean-Paul Thibaud (CNRS Grenoble), Rudolf Bernet (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven) and Xavier Bassas (Universitat de Barcelona) as guests. Lucio Capece will also present a performative sound intervention in the Pavilion as part of the seminar.
