Requirements
Neon v2 is only available for Windows and should work on almost every modern computer with 3D hardware acceleration and DirectX 9 installed. A pixel shader 2.0 card is recommended if you want the nicest filters.

Neon v2 can display up to 10 effects blended each other with different modes: additive, subtractive, multiply, mask…

Output
Output window is always 640×480 and can be set fullscreen to second monitor for video projection. If the desktop is bigger, a bilinear filter will be applied to the result.

Filters
Filters can be applied to any FX source. Neon v2 filters include colorize, distort, hi/lo-pass, pixelate, emboss, glow, blur, and any user can program his own filters using a plain Microsoft .FX effect file.

Linkable controls
Most of the FX and GUI controls can be linked to a MIDI device, the keyboard, the beat manager or even the FFT and react to these values with different actions.

Syncing
You can sync effects and filters to the beat manager, triggering events when a beat is reached or altering properties of objects using the FFT. Neon v2 includes a DJ alike system with pitch bend to accurate sync the Beat manager to the music.

Recording
You can record your session for later playback with almost losing performce. This is done by writing only event commands and not the video output. Using the included player you can playback the session and attach an MP3 audio file to it.
